Be a part of Outlaws at Home

UPDATED 10/4/2020: We are currently no longer taking applications for Takeovers.

The need to stay home continues, as the US continues to see an increase of cases of Covid-19 and as more cities see mandates of mask requirements for indoor spaces.

Craftin’ Outlaws continues to allows makers and artists a space to share their art with our followers by providing access to our social media feeds. This was something that we extended only to those that were attending our in-person events.

As we gear up towards our next virtual market on July 18, showcasing the vendors that would have joined us for our postponed Spring event, we will now open up spaces to other artists to be a part of our Outlaws at Home campaign.

Interested artists can apply here.

There’s no fee to apply but all applicants will be juried and pay a $30 participation fee. Accepted makers will be given the option to choose a day to takeover with 24 hour access to our Instagram feed. Takeovers spaces are designated to weekdays and will start August 1st – November 13th, excluding all national holidays. In addition, all accepted makers will receive a landing page with other makers within their assigned week, which will include a listing your online shop, photos and a Q & A section based off of your application questions.

As Instagram is the primary mode for sharing content, artists will have access to Stories, IGtv, as well as sharing access to Craftin’ Outlaws Twitterand Facebook page. Additional tips and instructions will be made available upon acceptance. Makers can create giveaways and raffles, if they choose, encouraging our followers to follow your business.

On average makers who have participated in our Outlaws at Home campaign have seen an increase in followers and $200 in sales as a result of their takeover. We know that online campaigns, in no way replaces in-person sales of fairs and festivals but we encourage our fans and supporters of handmade to continue to shop handmade at home during this time.
