Oh hey, Monday. 👋 Let’s get this week started with another new design. These are an iteration of a design that’s been through about a gazillion revisions over the last couple weeks. (Some of you may remember my stories poll 📲) I couldn’t get it just quite perfect enough and then I realized I have no idea what perfect is, so I’m letting it fly free into the world. More detailed shots in the shop listing. Reminder there’s 15% off through 8/25 😎✌️ . . . . . #columbusohio #614life #handmadeinohio #ohiohandmade #fortunajune #ohiocreative #ohiocreatives #ohiogram #makersgonnamake #makersmovement #madeincolumbus #theartisancollective #madeinohio #fallcolors #asseenincolumbus #ohiomaker
Local Charity you support: Pelotonia has been a personal cause of mine that I’ve supported over the last 5 years, but I’m looking to expand to charities that support mental health, which aligns with Fortuna June’s mission.
What show are you binge watching? Mad Men is such a go-to classic for days I want to absentmindedly listen to something.
What was your first handmade experience? My craftiness is inspired by my grandmother, who taught me to sew when I was young. She’s still my inspiration at 95! I used to own a knitwear design business in which my patterns were featured in both print and online knitting magazines.
What would you tell your future self? Slow down and stop trying to do and be everything at once.
Which do you prefer: Tacos or Pizza? Tacos – fresh jalapeños on top are basically life.
