Oulaws Takin’ Over – Fortuna June

Outlaws at Home, our online effort to keep artists selling their goods online continues with a new series of makers taking over our feeds.

Friday , August 28th: Fortuna June

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Instagram Handle: @fortuna.june

Local Charity you support: Pelotonia has been a personal cause of mine that I’ve supported over the last 5 years, but I’m looking to expand to charities that support mental health, which aligns with Fortuna June’s mission.

What show are you binge watching? Mad Men is such a go-to classic for days I want to absentmindedly listen to something.

What was your first handmade experience? My craftiness is inspired by my grandmother, who taught me to sew when I was young. She’s still my inspiration at 95! I used to own a knitwear design business in which my patterns were featured in both print and online knitting magazines.

What would you tell your future self? Slow down and stop trying to do and be everything at once.

Which do you prefer: Tacos or Pizza? Tacos – fresh jalapeños on top are basically life.
