What Is an Outlaws Ambassador?

Ambassadors help spread the word about Craftin Outlaws events like our upcoming Black Friday Celebration in November and our Virtual Holiday Market in December.

What Is Expected of an Outlaws Ambassador?

Create and/or repost engaging content around Craftin Outlaws events to your audience on social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and Twitter.

What Is the Compensation & Commitment?

During active weekends, Ambassadors can expect engagement on their posts and reposts of their content on Craftin Outlaw platforms. At the end of the season, Ambassadors will receive a handpicked goody bag of exclusive Outlaws swag.

You Might Be Wondering…

  • Do I have to have a large following to be an ambassador? No way! We are looking for Ambassadors who are true fans of Craftin Outlaws, enjoy spreading holiday cheer, and want to make a difference for our Holiday vendors and artists working hard this busy season.
  • How do I know what to post? We’re giving our Ambassadors the freedom to post in a way that feels authentic and natural to their audience. Repost photos of your favorite Craftin Outlaws vendors, make a video, share a review, whatever you like! We’ll also supply a list of ideas to get you started.
  • Will I need to show up anywhere? You can help promote the excitement of Craftin Outlaws from the comfort of home. Kick your feet up, spike the eggnog, and help us spread the word about our virtual events.

How Do I Apply?!

Thank you to the Outlaws team for compiling the lists and to Instagram accounts @CraftySuperMkt, @DearHandmadeLife, @Short.And.Loud, @MooreHisStyle, and @HandheldHM. We appreciate you sharing many of these new to us artists so we can continue to spread their work.

Need a mask?

It took sewists of all kinds, from professional to hobbyist, no time at all to dive into their stash of fabrics and go to work making masks.

With the reopening of Ohio, as depicted by Governor of Ohio Mike Dewine on April 27, small businesses are being asked to make sure they have enough masks for their employees. While the general public is not yet being mandated to wear them in public, many independent retailers are requiring consumers to wear them in order to seek out their services.

This is a collection of makers from around Central Ohio making masks for sale. All questions should be directed to the individuals offering them for sale. Be safe. Be an Outlaw.

Outlaws at Home

Back in early March, we had to make the decision to postpone our Spring event. We want to thank everyone who liked, shared and supported our makers and you now have the chance to do it all over again.

Outlaws at Home is an extension of our Instagram takeovers. Vendors share products, promotions and check ins with our fans.

How it works:

You simply buy directly from them. If you aren’t in a place to support them directly you can like, share and add supportive comments to their takeovers.

Expect some surprises along the way, free content for you to make and create things at home.

We are so honored to have played a part in supporting makers for 15 years. We are going to do everything in our power to stick around and continue to bring you curated experiences. Interested makers will be given a chance to join our takeovers starting in July.

Stay safe! Wash your hands! Always be an Outlaw!

Sewing Hive Gift Guide

This gift guide has been curated by the lovely Jamie Hevener, Sewing Instructor at the Sewing Hive In Clintonville!

Poor Sparrow – Columbus, OH

This local artist makes some of my favorite jewelry. Her upcycled vintage and gem combination is just enough sparkle and intimate vintage details are a delight, never over-stated and always one-of-a-kind. Such a precious way to let those close to you know how you feel about them.

Natterdoodle – Columbus, OH

This company is one of my favorites. Natalie is probably the most entertaining and fun business owner in the city and her classes become experiences you will remember. Imagine getting a gift this holiday for your pal or even yourself that is a promise of good times to come and a new life skill of learning how to create letters that are a work of art!

Haven Herbs – Columbus, OH

Lily, the shop owner at Haven Herbs is another local favorite. Her business sells locally sourced herbs and plant based products that heal and make you feel your best. She also offers in depth classes that provide valuable information that helps put you in control of your health. This is a great place to purchase a class or self-care product this year.

Wild Cat Gift and Party – Columbus, OH

For years this store has been a unique staple to the community and a destination place for visitors to find fun gifts, ranging from sweet things like vintage accessories, plushies and fun items like snarky stationary and embroidery. Sometimes you just need to be painfully honest or have a good laugh with your friends, and this is THE place to find gifts to express those sentiments.

Sweet Stella Designs – Columbus, OH

Amy, the artist of Sweet Stella designs makes inspiring confection themed jewelry that you can’t pass up. She used her talent to make pieces that look like cupcakes, candy, sushi and other fun foods that honestly look like you could take a bite from. But don’t! Your loved ones and friends of all ages will love anything you purchase for them made by Amy!

The Sewing Hive – Columbus, OH

This year, give a life skill: sewing, to a special person in your life by purchasing a gift card or acquire a skill for yourself by purchasing a sewing class!

The Sewing Hive is a sewing class studio dedicated to a community of individuals who are searching for better ways to express their individuality by sewing clothing and accessories. We are here with experienced instructors who engage and guide adult and school aged students with no sewing experience and highly skilled sewists. We put  programs together for our students with the goal of building skills. Classes are small (up to 2 students at a time) which allows for the teachers to make sure students are successful. Send inquiries to studio@sewinghive.com.

The Sewing Hive is located in Columbus at 3455 Indianola Avenue.

Ramble Coffee Gift Guide

Southern Hospitality – Indianapolis, IN

Know someone who’s on their feet all day or work outside in the cold? Southern Hospitality’s Sweet Tea Foot Soak’s are the ultimate gift, helping to soothe achy or cold feet after a hard day’s work.

Bud And Bowl – Cincinnati, OH

These handmade cappuccino mugs from Bud And Bowl come in 8 different funky patterns AND are dishwasher and microwave safe. They pair perfectly with a lb. (or two) of Ramble Coffee for the perfect gift!

ChicalooKate – Pittsburgh, PA

For a note of levity, we present ChicalooKate. Her products may not always be appropriate, but she will make your friends and family laugh, possibly against their will.

Ramble Coffee – Columbus, OH

Whether you’re gearing up for an outdoor adventure, to get away from it all, or have a coffee break at your desk, all you need is hot water for the perfect cup of Ramble Coffee. These single-serve coffee packs are filled with precision ground, pre-dosed, ready to brew specialty coffee. Just pour over, dunk, steep, and enjoy with no mess – just + water. Every pack is nitro sealed in fully compostable packaging made using renewable materials.

While we have always been intrigued by the complexity and variety that coffee has to offer, lately traversing the world of coffee has become something of an obsession for us.  In 2015, when we were still hand-roasting green coffee in our kitchen, we also designed and built a teardrop camper. We set out to see the country with our two spirited children and found ourselves as taken with the beautiful vistas as we were with new friends we met along the way.  We knew we wanted to bring that sense of adventure and community back to our hometown, and launched Ramble Coffee in October of 2016. Two years later, we moved our roastery inside Global Gallery coffee shop in Clintonville where we currently roast.

Whether we are perfecting a roast, learning about a farm or co-op, or experimenting with brewing methods, a spirit of exploration leads the way.
